By accessing or using Kavum, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the app.
Kavum is intended only for licensed medical practitioners registered with the relevant medical authorities in India and is designed as a doctor-facing workflow tool. By using the app, you confirm that you are legally permitted to prescribe medicines in your applicable jurisdiction.
Kavum is a documentation, prescription-writing, and record-retention tool for doctors. It is not a patient marketplace, not an emergency service, not a substitute for in-person care when required, and not a representation that every use case is independently verified for legal compliance by the app.
Kavum does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or prescribing decisions. All clinical decisions are made solely by the prescribing doctor.
Kavum provides documentation and workflow support only. The prescribing doctor remains fully responsible for patient identification, patient consent, clinical judgment, medicine selection, dosage, duration, referral decisions, follow-up advice, and issuing prescriptions in accordance with applicable law, medical council regulations, and telemedicine guidelines in India.
When creating a prescription for a patient under 18 years of age, the app requires you to confirm that a parent or guardian is present or has provided consent. For patients under 12, guardian presence is mandatory before a prescription can be saved. This confirmation is your responsibility as the prescribing doctor.
The signature image stored in your profile acts as your electronic signature for generated prescriptions. You are responsible for ensuring that the signature is valid, accurate, securely maintained, and used only by you.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your login credentials or allow unauthorized persons to issue prescriptions using your account.
Your use of Kavum is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how account, professional, prescription, signature, and patient data are collected, used, stored, and deleted.
Kavum Pro is available as a monthly (₹199/month) or annual (₹1,499/year) subscription, managed through Google Play Billing. Subscription access continues until the end of the current billing period after cancellation. Subscription management, cancellation, and refund handling are subject to Google Play policies and the options available in your Google Play account.
The free version of Kavum provides access to your 5 most recent prescriptions. Older prescriptions remain stored and encrypted in the cloud and become accessible upon subscribing to Kavum Pro. The free version may also display non-personalized advertisements.
We aim to keep Kavum reliable, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Features may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued when necessary.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Kavum provides digital tooling only. Clinical decisions, patient communications, sharing prescriptions through WhatsApp or other apps, prescription accuracy, legal compliance, and patient outcomes remain the responsibility of the prescribing doctor. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kavum shall not be liable for losses arising from misuse of the app, incorrect data entry, clinical decisions, or non-compliant use.
You must not use Kavum for unlawful prescriptions, impersonation, unauthorized access, fraudulent activity, storing false professional information, violating patient privacy, or any use that breaches applicable medical, legal, or regulatory requirements.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Kavum at our discretion, including where an account is found to be misusing the platform, violating applicable law, violating patient privacy, or breaching these Terms of Use.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of Kavum after changes are posted means that you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
